Multiple Art Pieces

We can make multiple Art Pieces for you and your family.  They do make amazing gifts for parents of the bride and groom, as well as close friends and family. We would need additional flowers to create more than one piece.  In addition to sending your bridal bouquet, you would also need to send one or more bridesmaids bouquets.  We can also include the groom's boutonniere into any piece that you choose or can create a separate smaller piece specifically for the groom.

Why should I preserve my wedding flowers?

You should preserve your wedding flowers to have as a beautiful keepsake from your magical day.  Typically, the flowers are enjoyed on the wedding day itself only.  With preservation, you will enjoy the flowers for many years to come!  You can also order smaller pieces to give to the parents of the married couple or to close friends as a thank you gift for supporting you on your special day.  If you would like this addition, we would also need bridesmaids bouquets for additional plant material. The number of additional bouquets would depend on the option that you choose.

How should the flowers be stored or sent to achieve best results?

The flower stems should be wrapped in wet paper towels and then placed in a plastic bag or wrapped in plastic wrap as soon as possible.  They should be refrigerated until dropped off or sent to us.  We should receive the flowers as soon as possible to provide the best preservation outcome.  If the package is sent through mail, we would suggest using a 2 - 3 day delivery option.  Also, if shipping, the arrangements should be supported by tissue paper and newspaper in the box to prevent flower damage while shipping.

What is the preservation process?

The process of flower preservation differs between our two options.  Pressed flowers are created by carefully disassembling the floral arrangements. The flowers and greenery are placed in a flower press for about 6 weeks.  We then create a beautiful 2-dimensional art piece using your personal wedding flowers. The piece will be framed, with or without a mat.  You also have a choice of a floating frame (glass on glass).

Dried flowers are created by placing the carefully disassembled bouquet into silica gel to remove all moisture or air dyring depending on the specific plant.  The process removes all moisture from the flowers and then they can be arranged into an art piece. This option creates a 3-dimensional art piece that is placed in a shadow box.

What is the turnaround time from when I send you the flowers to when my finished product is completed?

The flowers will need around 6 weeks to properly dry and preserve.  After that, we will create your art piece, which may take a few weeks.  The piece will then need to be picked up or sent back to you.  Overall, the estimate of the process would take between 8 - 10 weeks.

How will the package be sent to me?

We will use a shipping business to deliver your art piece safely back to you.

How do you accept payment for preserved wedding floral art?

Preserved Floral Art using wedding flowers is a commissioned piece of art. For commissioned art pieces, 50% of the order will need to be paid when the order is placed. This is a non-refundable payment. At this time, we block off time on our calendar and buy needed supplies specifically for your art. The remaining 50% will be paid when the commissioned piece of art is completed and before delivery.  We have easy payment options through Venmo and Paypal.
